Too bad about the bumper. In the pics it looks too off for my liking. I'm liking those wheels more and more every time I see them

 

it was a big crowd today and i didn't get a chance to talk to him, he and several others went to a guy named Mad Mikes house... guess he is an old school nissan guy or something. we had a perfect example of why nobody needs to showboat leaving meets. i was going from the main road onto the freeway and a guy with a twin turbo z32 was behind me, he gunned it, rear end got out from under him, he overcorrected it and jumped the curb and rolled it twice stopping against the cement wall separating the embankment from the freeway. when i saw him jump the curb and flip i stopped and turned around and was going the wrong way on the access road, when i got to the car he was still laying down but then got out.... he said he was okay and needless to say the car is totaled out. i will call chris and see if he can send the banner up to y'all

 

i text chris about the banner and his response was "lol oops! i will send it to smooth ASAP"

 

Nice. I guarantee you'll put more miles on your z this year than I will

my350z banner being sent around the country. It's a great way to get people together and sign it.

 

dynoed today. 363hp 341ft lbs. on 9.5 psi. Wouldnt maintain boost pressure, it would drop to 6.5 - 8 psi after 5k rpm. but up to 5k it was strong. Thinking its a weak wastegate spring. Gonna run this for the remainder of the year and build the bottom end this winter!

 

I think you have a weak *** VQ engine. Better get a Mustang.

from what i hear, he just got it out of the shop not long ago after having a turbo put on it, i think they said it was a little over 400 whp, my guesses he wasn't used to the power and when the rear slid on him he couldn't correct it, or over corrected it.. hard to say. i know when i saw it flip in my mirror my heart stopped since i had just seen him take his t-tops off a couple min prior

 

that sux what other mods you have??? I take it this is a turbo set up right? Single or twin?

 

single. Not much else done, MD spacer and exhaust. Honestly I'm fine with it, keeps within safe limits to get used to it and I can run MAP in Sept and shouldnt have to worry about much.

Diff is in, new exhaust is in, driver's side race bucket is in (passenger goes in tonight)

It feels like a completely different car. The feedback, and the ability to put power down properly is amazing. I can't wait to get to try this out in anger on on the 10th.

I just hope I don't go over on sound limits.. this thing is noisy as **** now.

If there is one thing ive learned from Mustang owners on YouTube, its to get thru the corner first, and THEN romp on it But seriously though, that really really sucks


Edit: finally got that JWT popcharger installed. No way I was spending a night like this inside. Only had one brain fart, not too bad for my first DIY car work I think
