Saturday July 12. Will be going to the hastings car show. Who is interested? I mentioned it to Dave already.

 

Washed and waxed the Z on Thursday after work. I think I did about 10 double takes walking back into my house after that. 😄

 

Joe, I've always wanted to check out that car show in Hastings.

Scuba, I still do that with my Z even after 10 years.

 

Meet at showplace 16 in inver grove at 4 pm. There will be some g's with so some fellow z's would be great!

 

Just grabbed a Momentum Performance 3" single exit y-pipe back exhaust.. i'll actually be able to hear the engine now.. as soon as i find a y-pipe. Anyone know of anyone looking to part with one?

Also soon to be for sale, the borla true dual system that came with the car.

Got impatient, and found out that Stillen y-pipes are cheap as ****. So i ordered one of those and their plate bracket last night.

Who knows, maybe i can even get them all on for the TnT and event in 2 weeks.

 

BTW, I started looking at that Momentum dual exhaust. I wonder how loud it is compared to mine.

 

It kinda sounds like it's going to be loud as ****.
Which, I'm okay with.. as long as it's under 95db @ 50 ft.

 

I have not been at all impressed with stillen products. Poorly made and very poor fitment.

 

Eh, it's an exhaust. Not like it's a precision thing.
As long as i can get it to mount, seal, and vent gases as quickly as possible out the back of the car, i'm good.

Hopefully, within the next year i'll be chopping this y-pipe up to put some high flow cats in it so i can get away with running PPE long tube headers.

The BERK HFC stuff does look awesome, but doesn't work for what i'm trying to do.
I want to get a bigger exhaust chamber between the engine and the restriction, as well as even out the flow.

Rules say i can put the cats in the y-pipe, the cats are goin in the y-pipe.
