Ahh.. the joys of life..

Negative: noticed the Z is missing it's front impact absorber (the foam) from the bumper. Explains why the damn bumper doesn't quite line up right.

Positive: Nissan Motorsports is FSKCING Swwweeet. Signfigant discounts on everything. New one is on order and should be here next week.

Fingers crossed i don't find any damage when I pull off the bumper. there was alot of stupid stance crap on this car, i'm hoping the reason the foam is missing is that a previous idiot had a body kit that didn't fit it.

You think that's bad, try having to decide if you want to drive the Z because your left/clutch foot is having a bad day and doesn't want to cooperate or go for a drive.

Price drop offer from that guy south of Mankato is now $1500. Still not worth it, IMHO. I'd have to find a trailer and get some help with the car, then start finding all the parts to get the damn thing to work.

Ryan, I think you're right about buying a car that's pretty much completed.

Flipped table on budget.. ordered a Wavetrac Diff..
Was initially hesitant about a torsen type, but the Wavetrac locking capabilities kinda sold me.

if i don't like it.. there's going to be a new wavetrac for sale in the next few months.

anything is better than an open diff. Obviously get the new bearings pressed on an that's all you'll need. If you want as a cheap accessory get the nismo diff cooler ($150) cause you can only replace it when you have the pumpkin dropped so since it's out you might as well throw that on along with some redline fluid or that of something equal.

I would have picked up the diff cooler, but their not currently legal. I've got a request out to have it reviewed, but who knows. I know the SCCA is pressing to allow more modifications to allow for dual purposes, so it may get approved.

New face! Hopefully get painted soon. I need to straighten out the intercooler a touch, its bugging me. Also going to look at splitter options for the front and try to find some side splitters to match. Annnddddd I tried making flares and temporarily gave up. I have another idea I'm going to try. Tune date at DB set for the 28th. I have about 120miles on it without any problems except a CEL for running rich.
