Just wanted to check out over on these boards if anyone has a fair facility/tools, maybe a heated garage that would be willing to help swap out some springs on my g in a few weeks, just got my unrevised springs in when I got back from vacation and the snow makes me want to go back! If anyone has and is willing to help, I have swapped suspension before on my cavalier but dont have tools now that I have moved.

Hey Jay...this is about the time in winter when I starting getting stir crazy. Maybe that's why I tend to buy stuff for the Z this time of year?

I have done these cars before, as well, and im sure others would love to help. It does not take that long now that we have got it down.

As i said before, you are welcome to come to my house and do it. We have a heated garage, low profile floor jack, impact gun and sockets, air compressor, and pretty much every tool you could ever need. I have swapped out 8 struts and spring in my garage already.
I have done these cars before, as well, and im sure others would love to help. It does not take that long now that we have got it down.

That actually sounds like fun to me (an early get together to work on modding a car). I know that I am planning on doing my BBK within the next month or so. If anyone would want to help out by providing a garage, tools, experience, and/or just would like to show up as an excuse to meet and get together before the Spring outing I would be more than happy to provide the beer/food. Just a thought for everyone.

Wow, that is extremely nice of you to share your garage/tools. Do you guys get together to help work on each others Z's often?

The BBK does come with a comprehensive DIY cd with pics. After looking more closely to the instructions it doesn't look very challenging. The install is estimated to take between 2-4 hours depending on how slow we go. Which sounds about right to me based on the instructions.
I will let you throw out the invitations to others as it is your place...but I feel pretty confident if it was just me installing. If others are excited to come for an early get together to help do a BBK brake mod I would be happy to allow my car to be the first to get worked on.
