Happy birthday Andrew!

I'm bringing it to the shop tomorrow. Hopefully, they'll be able to mask off all the silver and just redo the black parts. This is possible, right? Will they not be able to fix it because of Shine's flexible material? Either way, I'm pissed.

The meet's in two weeks, so I'm hoping I can get it in ASAP and get it done so I can make it to the meet with my V2. If not, I guess I'll have to take off the parts and put my stock stuff on.

It should be fixed relatively soon, Janik. It just saddens me to see it and think how stupid I was...

Anyone have experience with Shine Auto bumpers? Can this be easily repaired by a body shop???

I know body shops can do wonders with flex additives. all the people I have talked to about it "cut the crack/hole smooth it out (like you would fix a hole in your wall) than patch it prime/paint" but I don't know... about that procedure because it hit or miss.

Ben, wtf... weather that good today?

Jay, I'll definitely call if I can get my neighbor to commit. He's ready to cut it down, told me to tell him when.

I had a great weekend spending most of it at home or near. Took the fam and the dog to the dog park today. Worked on the Z and got the test pipes put on.

Vertex was number one on my list of kits when I first bought the Z and started window shopping. That's one sexy bumper.

Nice! I almost needed a new battery, and was planning to pick up a yellow top, but I rescued my old battery. Last thing I need is to spend money on a battery.

I'm about to head over to the body shop.

I'm praying they can fix it, rather than saying, "We can't match this flexible fiberglass material, sorry buddy."

If that's the case, I may look into selling my entire kit and going to an 06+ stock bumper and spending the money on lowering the car.

Looks like they can fix it easy. Drop the bumper off and $300 later it'll be fixed as good as new.
