Default SpeedTrialUSA track day @ GingerMan Raceway August 15

Hello everybody,

SpeedTrialUSA is holding a lapping day Friday, August 15, at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, MI. Since this is such short notice, registration will be at the track only. So call in sick or get the time off and come out to GingerMan with us for a good time!

This event is $125 (cash or checks please) for the day which includes intstruction for those that need/want it and also your tech inspection. We will be running our groups in 20 minute sessions, so you will have more track time than you will know what to do with! Arrive at the track at 7:30am, Drivers meeting at 8:30 am, first session begins at 9am.

For more information, please check out our site; http://www.speedtrialusa.com or email me at speedtrialbrian@yahoo.com.

I hope to see some of you there.

Race-on,
Brian.

Is this something I can do as a "newbie"? Will it be too much wear and tear for my daily driver? I drove a '92 Talon TSI on the famous Nurnburgring in Germany. It was a blast, and now looking for some of the same excitement. But it only cost about $15 for a really long lap. They also had beer tents out front to take the edge off .

Our events are aimed at all levels of enthusiast with all different cars. We know that everybody has to start somewhere and offer you great instructors.

As for the car. A lot depends on how hard you end up driving the car. You should look into a different set, or at least an additional set of brake pads. The track is relatively hard on brakes. Tires should be fine, though they will get scruffed along the outer edges.

Running the car stock will help you learn how good the car really is from the factory. We go over more of the basics in the drivers meeting.

Hope you can make it out,
Brian.
