Has anyone experimented with taking the vdc off and getting higher mileage?? Less parts moving equals more mileage???

 

VDC isn't a "moving" part.

 

I am new to this whole g35x deal, I am trying to read up as much as possible. I thought the vdc incorporated the awd? If not what all does it incorporate and is there anyway to turn off the awd for the summer on long drives??? thanks guys

 

I believe it has full-time awd. I could always be wrong though.

 

VDC is completely electronic and does nothing until it senses wheels slipping or turning at different rates than others. Its not like shifting a Jeep into 4X4 and engaging a mechanical transfer case.
