Scott, I wouldn't worry about that. The shape of the Z is the icon of Nissan's product heritage. Be it a G, Z or GT-R, I'd have no issues at all with the Z being the representative.

As for saying Z, I'm ok with that too. There are more Z's out there than G's and GT-R's combined.

i've got some logos that i'm pretty stoked about. right now it's centering around the words 'detroit Z owners club'. i know virtually none of us are actually from detroit, but i thought anyone who saw it would get the point that we're from southeastern michigan. but we can discuss on sunday.

i was going to post them on here, but i'll wait to get everyone's thoughts on sunday. that way only those present have an opinion.

 

Unfortunately, many of the major club decisions must be done that way. This is why club officers are elected to help expedite decisions that will move the club forward quickly.

I've added room on the ballots to vote between 6 different logos. So if someone else has an idea, even if it's a rough concept sketch, please scribble it down and propose it!

 

unfortunatley matt will be in texas for a wedding.

also dont forget 24 of lemans is on too

 

We have a decent size TV/Projector set up in our boardroom, so if you bring a computer, we can put the logos up on the screen. I am pretty sure we have basic cable up there as well.

Scott-ironically they took my Z to the Arizona proving grounds for testing...more on that this weekend....I found a few weak spots..hahahah

Should have it by then, it probably will be pretty rare actually....we might buy this one.
I don't know if I can go to the "after festivities" my parents are coming into town today. My sister may be induced this weekend...That will make 7 neices and nephews...
