Yep. I'm pretty close. Major intersection is 9mile and hilton, so I am 3-4 blocks from 9mile/woodward. So you know it IS a little bit slower down here than up at 12-13 mile, but I like being able to just sit in a shady spot and watch the cars roll by.

Last year I biked to the WAB and walked around the Ferndale car shows and things after having a couple drinks and watching for a couple hours.

 

I used to have a friend who lived in Berkley and we did that a few years back. It was fun, we carried chairs, Beers and stuff woodward hung around for a few hrs and came back home for lunch. Then went back again for the afternoon.

Unfortunately, he has moved to VA

 

If ya all do want to come out here give me a little warning so I can do last minute cleaning. My street is full like half way to my house tonight. I have my winter car parked in the street so we could get one car in my driveway if it gets parked up all the way here.

 

looks like not so good cruise weather......we'll see how the day plays out i guess. Unfortunately, sitting at work right now......

 

It is sure slow right now. I sat down under an umbrella at the wab. I think the rain has really put a damper on it.

 

yeah I'm glad I went out last night even though it took me 30 min. to move 10 ft lol

 

i was there last night, and it was great!!!

 

I may take a single run through it tomorrow before everyone packs up and hits the road. It should be a cool but nice day out tomorrow.
