Want 1 Day Rental 350Z or 370Z $250 (Price Negotiable)
My wife is retiring and her dream car is a Nissan 350Z. I would like to rent a 350Z or 370Z for a day on August 27th 2010. (This Friday)
I thought $250 was reasonable to borrow your car for a day; however, that price is certainly negotiable.
Also, contract terms are extremely negotiable, if you want me too keep it under a certain number of miles and other types of precautions please let me know.
Great driver, 10+ years no incidents.
Preferably BLUE but will accept any color if you can make this happen for us.
I own a manual trans vehicle and have for 6 years, so that won't be a problem either; however, would prefer automatic.
Please feel free to contact my with any suggestions or offers on renting one of these. This will really make her day all the more special, thank you!

EDIT:
Forgot to mention, would be used in Geneva, IL and Naperville, IL

not sure what you mean.
I intend to buy her one some day in the next couple of years; however, I do not finance vehicles any longer and don't currently have all the cash even for a used one. I'd really like her to have the experience of it for a day so she can know what it is like and look forward to owning one in a couple years.

That's a bit steep, considering I can get a Mercialago (sp?) for $1000 for 3 days and a Ferrari for $1400 for 3 days at the local exotic car share.
If they had 350Z or 370Z I would get it from them; however, they don't rent those and it is really the only car my wife has interest in at the moment. :^(

Ok is this post for real? Dude no one in their right mind would rent someone they do not know their sports car for 250. Who knows what you or your wife will do to the car not to mention ****ing up the car, stealing it, chopping up the car, taking it to Canada, seriously.

In the past I have taken all the precautions, such as leaving the owner copies of my driver's license, insurance, etc. in addition to signing a contract/rental agreement and having it notarized.

i have rented Zs and corvettes from hertz before. usually in big cities (LA, chicago, vegas, etc.) they can't guarantee, but if you go there and they have it (Z, corvette, etc.) they will let you rent it. u can even call up the rental place that morning and have them look to see if they have one in their inventory that day.
the last time i rented from their "fun collection" was a couple of years ago. as such, i dont know if they still carry those vehicles for rent. I would assume instead of 350s they might now have 370s.

I just called them up. Hertz no longer rents a Nissan 350Z, and they don't plan to offer the 370Z. :^(
