Sorry Derek: You were not in part II either! I'm working on Part III.
Part II is short as it just covers Friday. Deepu and I do the Time, Speed Distance Rally through Redneckville and Deepu, Rob, Kyle and Lee (+ 5 other Z's) start at the bottom of the Dragon and head back to Fontana in the rain.
Not so exciting but it covers what we did that day ...

Awesome! Can't wait for Part III.
I can definitely say that your videos are getting better on each iteration. Good job Brian, really appreciate the time and effort you put into this.
I like it how you had the soundtrack synced up at the end of the dragon run when you see the cop car on the left. I am thinking this was intentional?

^^ I wondered if anyone would catch that. One thing I have learned is ... I wish I bought Sony Vegas instead of Adobe Premiere Elements 8. I am very limited by this terrible buggy program. At some point I will build a powerhouse pc and try to get a decent program. I spend so much time waiting for this or that so I end up skipping good effects. Maybe ZdayZ 2011 will be a little better. Thanks for the comments. You and Rob star in part II. The dogs had me cracked up.

Does the firmware allow for a plug in mic now? If so, next year I will buy a few mica and place them where you can get engine noise, interior conversations or exhaust noise. Good sound adds so much to a film experience.

Looks like Part III may not be possible. The 1.5TB drive holding all the video files has died. F*CK Seagate bastards. Their warranty will cover a replacement but not data recovery. Sorry guys. Too pissed off right now.

It's my fault for not having a dedicated desktop for this. 1st rule is to keep the files on atleast two hard drives. (One as the backup.) But the over 50GB was taking up too much space.
I was pretty proud of Part III so I may collect video again and try to piece it together. I had started out on Saturday morning where we left the Fontana Pit Stop gas station and moved to the Misty River photo shoot. Then from there to the closed Deal's Gap Station that said "Motorcycles Only", to the third station and finally to our blast down the Dragon. After that, the Car Show, various antics at night and then Sunday's journey home.
Perhaps after I'm done crying in my beer I'll work on it again.

Ouch! That is very bad. I have had HardDrives die on me only once before back in 2000 and I lost my precious mp3 collection of old songs from India. Took me years to rebuild it again.
I still have all the footage available and I believe I have yours too. I wouldn't have the video of the drive back from Fontana that's about it. Give me a call and we'll try to to get it to ya.
