Well few showed up and much was talked about, and cheers rained down from above. For we found Hooters to be the ideal place to meet! The menu was tasty the views mountainous and the curves to be deadly!

What we did talk about was a drive up to Frankenmouth on the 22nd of August. I need to get an idea of how many people will be going so I can ask them to block off some space in the parking lot for us. Also if enough people show maybe even ask them to hold tables for us. If that date is not good for many let me know what might be better and I will post for the majority to decide. What I am thinking was leave at about 10:00am and have a nice drive up lunch and than walk around the city and maybe hit the shops at B.R. on the way back out. To bad they don'e have a Z store there or we would have lots of fun! Anyway for what it is worth that is what we came up with for the next meet and no one can say we did plan it out far enough in advance this time! Open to questions, opinions, comments, cuss words, or just rambling on!

 

Oh yes a big fyi to all interested folks. They are planning a mini run of the Dragon for Oct. 1-3 if any one is interested I may be going to that as well. The place we stay at is called Fontana Village Resorts and they have 2-3 bedroom cabins. The Dragon is 30 miles of sheer and utter driving bliss, 310 turns and cut backs and well just fun! This is about a 10 hour ride and is in North Carolina and I highly recomend going, if I go in October it will be my 3rd time there. Also mcduck is planning a zdayz 2 in may of 05 this year we had 74 Z's show up for that. Maybe part 2 will be even bigger!

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have some ideas for a t-shirt and window decal for our group and I need help in the design department. And if anyone has any contacts in the silk screening/t-shirt bussiness that would help out as well!

 

i was planning on working on that.... my fraternity goes through some company that makes about 300 shirts for us a year. like 7 bucks each. ill work up a design and post it. i was thinking white tshirt with Detroit Z Club on it with a photo of each model Z. and then a black or grey color shirt the same as the white but reverse coloring. the shirt i was wearing today is one from that shirt company just to give you an idea of what they do.

ahh missed it. i checked back after washing the car and no one had posted so i ended up spending the day at metro park with the fam.

i like the shirts idea.

ive been having racing withdrawal so im going to try and go to the track on wednesday. my driving is starting to get out of hand. i need something to help with the lead foot issue i've been having lately. i got a ticket today for going threw a blinking red in canton. i didnt even see the damn thing. blah!!

 

Chadi I would love to hit Milan!! I think it is supposed to rain on Wednesday night though! Maybe next week?

update on my airbag light
they want 44 bucks to reset the code originally they wanted 88 but since i told him the problem he said hell cut it in half, i told him i took out my seats to clean underneath not to fish metal lines under the carpet. is the plug in for the cpu on the driver side if so they wont need to pop my hood right. thats if i do it, i might just leave it alone since ppl say that its just a warning and that the airbags still work
