Add me to the Detroit list...Since I spend most of my time on the bumpy Detroit streets, no wonder why everybody drives a SUV in this city...But I luv booting those SUVs in my Z.

Misha,

Did you have any problem with your rear tires leaning in after you had them installed? Is this a Camber issue?

Also, has anyone installed a crank pully on their Z? Will it make any difference with response?

nope had no problems. what size tires are you running in the front???

do some research on the UR crank pully upgrade, because the stock crank pully has a harmonic damper, and people have mixed feelings about removing that and how it will effect your engine wear.

Mike get the Crawford high flows at the same time you order the plenum. I have them and the car sounds great and power out put is highly improved. They are mid priced cause I looked around but they are worth it. Ask for Doug when you order and tell him Gerry from zdayz has the stuff on his car.

Is anyone going to any of the car shows this weekend? I finally got the entire weekend off and would like to meet up and drive to one or both. I got some great pictures from the one in Utica a few weeks ago at Kart/Kart. That would be a fun place to have a meet one day and race indoor go carts.

The kenitix is the best but it is cracking. A new version is out and I haven't heard the results. With the Kentix, you can use the stock strut bar. The cost is $400. If you add high flow cats the cost is $760. Approx 20rwhp. Dick Scott's head mechanic said getting high flow cats will be the biggest gain you can get without TT or SC.

The Crawford is $400 but you need to get the Strut bar and you have to send in your stock plenum or pay an additional $200. The Strut bar is $175. A total of $575 and you lose you stock Plenum but there have been no problems with the Crawford. Cats add another $400. For a total of $975. Not as much gain as the Kinetix.

Mihalko has the Kentix but I haven't seen him in a while so I don't know if he is having any problems with his version.

I think I want the Kinetix because I can get the Cats for a reduced price. I will wait a couple of weeks though to see what people are saying on line.

I think I may go and get an alignment to see if that solves the tires issue.

FRONT TIRES...theres a recall for toe in problems......you can tell u have a problem cuz there will be tire noise as you come to a stop.....btw.......i have the borla cat backs and grounding kit....but the best bang for the buck is upping the rear end ratio a bit....and if that dont make u happy then turbo rize it...snort

I already had the tires replaced and the feathering issue taken care of. Its only the rear tires that are on the lean. Mickey got his problem fixed with an alignment. I think I will try that first.
