Would anyone mind letting me ride along with them for a little while and just feel what it is like to ride in one? I am thinking about purchasing one but in order to test drive it you have to be very near to purchasing it. Its hard to save that kind of money without a hint of what you will be buying (fastest car I have ridden in is a Cavalier/Malibu). So if someone wouldn't mind letting me ride in theirs I would be willing to reimburse for gas and any other normal expenses that would be incurred. Go to a dealler and act you like are ready to buy it. If you don't feel like getting the sales pitch, just go 30 minutes before closing time. I test drove one waaay before I thought of buying it.

Say you are going to drive the RX-8 before you decide.

if you're lookin' for a test drive, go to Rosen Nissan. The first day I went in to look at one, they offered me a test drive... even though I told them beforehand that I didn't know how to drive stick yet! Talk to Benni, that's who I bought my Z from.
