Just curious...
Does anyone know anything about the juding for the show? If it's not ZCCA judged and there are no score sheets, then how is it being done?

question for those who have done this before:

SO ... what kind of time does the racing take? Are you waiting in line all day or what? Just curious if I'd be able to take in the show, vendors, etc, AND also race. Not to mention my wife would be pretty pissed to sit there by herself all day.

Oh, and they don't require helmets, do they? It didn't indicate it on the website, so I'm assuming not.

I'm going from North Jeresy.

 

They rent helmets for 3 bucks. So if you don't have a helmet you can still race, just rent a helmet.

 

If anyone is interested, we have a group rollin to Raceway park which consists of ppl from the L.I. and Queens area leaving Bayside at 7:30. We also are making a stop at the Edison service area on the Jersey turnpike picking up somemore rides. Anyone interested in joining us the info is here.

 

Ill be there, coming from North NJ also.

 

You can pretty much race at your own pace.. They have the whole morning session dedicated just to us Z people so it shouldn't be that bad.. Plus, after a run, you can park, hang out, check out the cars, etc... And like mentioned, they rent helmets cheap... Also, if you are racing, they require long pants(jeans).. I don't think they will let you race in shorts....
