Default Need recommendation on nice seafood rest. in Boston

I'm going to be up in Boston on business for Mon / Tues next week, but am going up early (Friday night) to explore the city a bit. I'm going up with the lady friend in tow, and I'd like suggestions on a nice seafood establishment for her to treat me for my birthday. Recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Legal Seafoods is always a safe bet..My personal favorite is Turner Fisheries at the Westin Copley Place Hotel...best chowda in the the city, IMHO.

I can get Legal Seafoods down here... would prefer something that is less commercial. Turner Fisheries looks more promising though - thanks! Any more suggestions?

from someone who lived in Boston 11 years......

The best seafood is the Atlantic Fish Company. Many varieties of fresh catch every day.

Default it's the real deal

hey,
as someone who has lived in boston for years, I like to go to this place on the water. It's called the Barking Crab, 88 Sleeper St. It's not fancy, but if you are looking for good food, this place has never let me down.

Here's my first post guys!

I second the Atlantic Fish. They have the most unbelievable Ahi Tuni steak I've ever had. I'm kind of a seafood nut. I've also heard great things about the Barking Crab although I've never been.

By the way. Where did you end going for seafood??
