If you are looking to do a meet in may, just don't do the weekend of the 19th since HIN is that weekend.

What if we had it the first Sat of June...that would put us on June 3rd??

April is too soon for me to organize...May is Jam-Packed w/ Meets...

 

I know that 6/3 is the Brenner Nissan Car Show out in York, Pa. A bunch of ECZA members will be heading up there for that event.

 

What about June 10th???

 

I'll be at the Brenner Nissan show on 6/3 with some other Z friends. The 10th sounds good.

But ya, who'd a thunk that a salesperson (or dealership) wouldn't follow through.

 

I think we might need to help them along. Let's start getting some ideas and propsals together for them.

And let's start getting some confirmations on who is gonna be going.

 

Yeah lets do all the work and let them get extra sales because of it. There are much better places to have a meet than at a dealership that doesn't follow through. They want to have a meet they gotta do the work. They should line up sponsors, food, etc...

 

Why do you feel this needs to be a 1 way street? I am not asking for us to RUN the damn thing, just post up some ideas. I mean, no one has posted anything in this thread for a couple weeks till I brought it back up. I was simply asking for some ideas we can possibly throw at them.

If they are willing to set us up with the space and probably food, why can't we give them some ideas on what we would like to possibly see at a meet?

I talked to one of the individuals at the dealership already. They were thinking of possibly having a dyno, catered meal, giveaways, etc.....

Now, if you are so opposed to helping out....then don't show the f up

 

Better yet, why don't you call you buddy's over at Exton....they have done SOOOO much for the Z community and all.....

I have thrown out a few ideas and have not had much feedback. I never asked anyone to run the meet for me. It was my idea and i will put things together. Feedback would be nice. Not negativity. Although I am happy to see people posting and having something to say in this thread. It is Upsetting to go days upon days...seeing my username as the last post. So if any of you could use that great negative "Z" energy to some positive "Z" energy it would be greatly appreciated.

We would be able to do raffles...I would just need to know what poeple would like to see givin as prizes (within reason).

I would also be able to handle paintless dent repair...we just couldn't handle the cost for the repairs

Before we order a food truck I want to see how much the dealership is willing to contribute beyond space.

I was also thinking of getting my parts dept. involved by having parts on display.

I could set up a professional photographer if people wanted pictures w/ other cars or their cars together. We could have them set up to print all pictures on the spot. And all pictures would be able to send via Email.

I also was talking to a gentleman from JPLines...he does handpainted pinstripes, monograms, decals etc... etc... he said he could set up a presentation area if people were interested.

Again i am trying to come up with ideas...not one person (besides ideas on dates) has givin any feedback on ideas...

Anyway let me know of any ideas out there...

 

I rip exton nissan at every chance, they are horrid. I have always said that. I don't know why you love dealerships so much, i bet you work at one. It just seems to me that is a business wants people to come to it they should do something about it. Why should the patrons have to do the work? Any work for that matter. All we should have to do is show up. I bet you drive around with the emblem of the dealership still on your car and the plate frame as well. Hell nissansales can't even come up with a new post, his last post is almost a 100% cut and paste from the one on 4/3. Personally, I think that if a business wants to host and event and get people to their location to promote themselves, they should do 100% of the work. If you don't like that, then use the ignore button, but stop putting words into my mouth. Find one post I have ever made saying that exton nissan is a good dealership. I may know and like most of the people there but I would never recommend a person go there for service or sales.
