Ok, so school starts up next week. Who is up at Penn State and who is bringing their Z/G35c? Maybe we can all meet up and have a mini meet, lol.

 

I work in State College, PA about 6 months a year at C-COR Incorporated (right across from Nittany Mall).

I'll be around next week, but it will be my last week for a while. I'll probably be working quite a bit as well, but I'd be up for a later-in-evening meet. 9PM or a little later?

I've seen a couple modded Zs in the area, other than mine.

A Blue with full kit, chrome 19s/20s, etc. and recently a Yellow one with Volk GT-Cs... plus a few stockers.

 

the DB is vorteched SC'd, never saw the yellow one, but theres also a SB with i think GT-cs on it, tinted, NISMO spoiler, havent been in state college for a few months though so i dont know

The yellow one is new. It's an 06 I believe and I just started seeing it a few weeks back...

I'm acutally goin up there this thurs and fri but i was planning on taking my jeep. i have to go up to my sisters in wayne, nj from allentown wed night and then thurs afternoon i'll be leaving from there for state college. Didn't really wanna put that many miles on the car but if theres enough people you may convince me...

Damn I miss my days at PSU. I felt pretty nostalgic this weekend knowing that classes were startin up and people were movin back in and stuff. I'll probably be up in SC this saturday afternoon thru sunday morning but unfortunately won't have time to meet up. I might not even have the Z with me. Oh well, thought I would chime in regardless.

 

lets wait til i get her tuned...if all goes well she'll be tuned for the funk flex show in AC, nj.. anyone else goin to that? me and jed (used to have the montero) are def goin, leaving fri night for jersey round like 11 pm, roll in to the show is 7 am if you wanna join clayton.. oh and the SB SC'd coupe is a kid from tyrone also.

I work in SC, live in Hollidaysburg (born+raised) Got a LS with tint etc. and gunmetal Work Emotion CR arriving from JP in about 12 days (not that I'm counting). Can't make anything this week, but I'll keep checking back.

Now being a young (25) local alum, I miss being a student, but I def don't miss the students... so much for dinner out... or my reserved parking spot, which is now overrun by students and parents with their flashers on. Eye candy is nice, though.

I have seen the modded Blue, have seen the Yellow, there are a couple stockers (I believe a silver and a redline) with mid-lifers, and a female (cha-ching) in a PPW. There aren't too many around, even fewer when students clear out.

 

I'm around in the modded CS - Veilside Kit, 19" gunmetal wheels, etc.

Look for me! I'll only be around a few more weeks and then back in the spring...

ajames - good to hear someone else is logging miles on their Z. I put about 2000 per month.

 

Theres more people in the area than I thought anyway; we should organize a meet for some weekend. I'll make the trek up even if I'm not working up here. Its about 1.5 hours, but the drive up 322 is awesome.

 

i agree steve.. a meet somewhere would be cool.. my friends and i always try to get together to hang out when we can.. well probably have a get together in sept. some wknd with my friends.. theres always a decent turn out of cars, Z's, rx-7s, evos, a few mustangs, more import than anything, but like i said.. its a good time

 

i'll be up that way for the psu vs notre dame game. i know its away and all but there's not place to even watch a psu game like happy valley (plus i went there). last time i was up i saw a white z that was tinted and had a grill parked somewhere among the fraternities. this isnt you is it???

I'll be up for good on sunday, just cleaning my apartment on friday and saturday, then bringing up my Z on sunday. I have a 06 MB ent 6mt with nismo catback. Don't plan on doing much to it.

 

cpt - we should get together sometime and snap some pics of the rides/take a little cruise. I know they've changed a bit since our last meeting. I'll be around harrisburg more starting September 9th, so anytime after that is cool with the exception of Sept 10 (skyline drive cruise) and September 13-17 (OC Maryland).
