Default any vortech/procharged z"S in connecticut?

I am dieing to ride in a supercharged 350z to help my choice over turbo or superchargering. And i think the only way is riding in one. So does anyone here have a vortech or procharged z in ct that would be willing to give me a ride? i live in orange but i would be willing to drive any where in the state maybe even a little futher, depending...

lol i want to but i don't want the higher risk of blowing my motor. I think the supercharger meets my needs alround better. But i really want to ride in one. I'd be even willing to drive to ny, nj, or mass at this point

honestly boost is boost, same engine life. best thing you can do is twin it, tune it, and then wait for it to pop. when it pops install build engine and call it a day.

Yeah, theres a PPW one running around central jersey with a Vortech. He's not a member of the forum but one of his friends is. Maybe he will notice this.

That car sounded so mean at Ikea! Whats new Dustin? You wanted a Z right? Have you heard I'll be selling mine after parting out?

Vortech was nice, no engine damage. I put almost 10k miles on my car in 3 months It was def a lot quicker, but did not satisfy my hunger. I had it on my 5AT g35 so it wasn't as fast as 6mt Z's, mainly because of the weight and longer gears. Instead of getting a new pumpkin with shorter gears I just went with the twins.

don't buy into that SC will be safer and not blow your motor... Greddy TT w/ UTEC and Return Fuel System with a very good tune will be safe enough for you.. I had mine done at MRC.. 9,000 miles later she is still running strong..

do it right the first time.. get twins... check the FI forum.. SC's blow as much as Twins.. if not more... matter of fact.. most of the blown motors lately are ST's and SC's... not many TT's... TT's get a bad rap because when the Greddy Kit first came out it was blowing motors left and right... APS TT out the box is also one of the safest setups

let me suggest researching long and hard on shops/tuners..

so far the closest ones that were great for me were MRC and Performance Motorsports...

yes XXTuning is in East Hartford, yes its close.. yes XXTuning is a sponsor on this board.. but they have mixed reviews from the Subaru Crowd... some other stories about good tuners leaving ... its all up to you..

I also found another place in CT, but they only 1 turbo install on a G...

I was very paranoid when it came to my car and blowing my motor.. so i went with MRC... they have a great reputation.. and tune Z's/G's all day long.. they know what the hell they are doing so it was no problem driving all the way out to New Brunswick exit 9 of NJTPK to make sure it was done right..

i am not telling you who to go with.. just make sure you do lots of research and talk to lots of people in the area.. i mean Vic on here had his car done at XXTuning and i havn't seen him say any problems.. so who knows..
