Anyone going to NewEngland dragway in Epping N.H on the 19th of May? Import wars last year was really fun and there were a lot of great rides.

 

I really liked going to Import Wars, but dont think I will be able to make it this time around. I cant wait for NOPI though. I did get to go to that last year, and Im making it a point to go again this year.

Have fun at Import Wars though. Its a good time.

Its basically, like stated, all imports, no domestics, with street bikes. Usually there are some starlets there that run some impressive times, as long as a Supra or two. There is also a rather large car show, with many different categories. Like I said, its a good time. Wish I didnt have to work.

So, I ended up getting the day off. Too bad the weather looks like its going to rain. Hopefully not though, I would really like to race my car again!

i wanted to go run my car with a 150 shot, but my UTEC didnt come in yet. oh wellz. its going to rain anywayz...it always rains on a dragday around here... there is always wednesday and friday nights. we should meet up and go to the track together. drive the speed limit when you get off 95 cops are in full force around the track. so dont get busted..

 

I went on a Wednesday night recently, but it just wasnt worth it to me. They dont prep the track at all, and I got horrible 60's. If you go on a Saturday morning, you can run your car a couple times, then enter the bracket racing series. Its a lot of fun, and the track is prepped with all the amenities. (The tractor will go out and actual clean debris, they go out with the wind blowers and everything.)

I have wishful thinking though, Im still hoping I will be able to race in the morning!

 

it was rescheduled to next saturday....so im still going

 

I am going to try to make it up there next week.

 

hopefully I will be able to make it. I had this Saturday off, so I should just have Saturdays off all together. We shall see!
