Does their tranny fluid cause your MT shifter to stick in cold weather like the Amsoil? I am tired of this Amsoil...

Any fluid that is not warmed up to operating temperature will cause that.Try letting your car warm up for 10 mins in the coold weather before driving/shifting. My bone stock Mazda Speed 6 does that also..

It never stuck like this with the factory fill fluid, i think the Amsoil is a slightly different viscosity than the FF tranny fluid...that could be the culprit there.

On a side ntoe, it shifts better in the summer with the Amsoil.... there is always a tradeoff

Usially 4 Liters for the Tranny and 2 for the rear. You can use the Gear 300 in both tranny and mechanical style diff's. If you have a clutch type diff, you need to get their diff fluid, currently on backorder from Motul USA.

With the Amsoil we reccomend a 50/50 mix of 75/90 gear oil and MTL fluids.

I'm using mobile 1 synth. now. I've had the car for literally 5 months.. is it really worth switching to Motul for the long run? The car has 28,000 miles on it and i'd like to start using something that the car will see for the rest of it's life. Thx in advance
