Englishtown RWP sucked =/
Ugh, when I had 3k miles last summer in englishtown, I ran a 13.8 in 90+ degrees and humidity. Today I ran with 19.5k miles on the car, half tank of gas I couldnt do anything about, nismo exhaust, K&N drop ins. I ran 14 flat basicly. I was so disapointed considering i deflated my tires to 25psi. My R/T sucked. I'm not good with the lights, was only 2nd time. I didnt get a good launch, meaning I couldnt brake torque up to the 2k I wanted. I still love my car, but it got me down running that time, saw a black Z there, he ran 14.9 =/. Everyone I went with ran .5 or .6 seconds slower than their usual. I think I did better off with 35psi in the rear. Traction isnt a huge issue with auto's. Not sure how accurate the scale was but I weighed in at 3368 with half tank and myself, 140lbs, yes im no body builder heh. Used to be 170, but lost lot of fat. Oh and falken 452's in the rear, think they grip and last longer than the stock.
That isn't exactly the best prepped track. I ran 14.38 @ 99 or something there...it was about 104 degrees (no exaggeration) and humid. My buddy was running about the same in his Impala SS but when he was there during cooler times he ran a 13.8 or 13.9. Still not a very good track though.
Yea baby,.... It was cruise night so you got 1 free run down the track. I havent had the spare change to go when they charge you. I need new front tires. I was really hoping for 13.6 since it wasnt as hot or humid as last summer. I'll wind up giving it another go but seriously a lot of people ran **** times. 2 friends that drove mustangs were mad they didnt put water down at all. Idk he spun his plenty, I'm not good with track stuff, but they sprayed for the last 2 cars which someone said were people who work at the track. No exotics like last time. Think the the Ford GT ran an 11, and he babied it off the line last time I was there.

103*, no exaggerating, high humidity. Big -1 there. That also ruins the track.
Either way, I saw exactly zero non-FI Z or G35 get into the 13.xx. No one was below 14.3x, in fact my best run was good enough to win the event except I blew the run that counted.
Im willing to bet dropping air pressure didnt help the OP. Unless he had a decent sidewall on his street tires or a slick. Chances are lowering his tire pressure did not improve his tire foot print and created more rolling resistance.
Atco Is Faster because Its at sea level = better air quality

Think about it this way, a hot air baloon rises because of the simple principle that it is less dense than the colder air around it.
Cars love air, an internal combusion engine in simplest form is an air pump. More air = more power (with the right amount of fuel).

Etown is at sea level.. and its a well known fact Atco is downhill.. then it goes uphill after the time marker

LID altitude is 25'
Atco altitude is 93'
Englishtown is 86'
Island Dragway 70'
MIR Altitude is 80'
Capitol Altitude is 330'
Virginia Motorsports Park altitude is 100'
New England Dragway altitude is 90'
Never realized RWP & Atco were so close in altitude, thanks Doug
