Whoah, just a De Tomaso Pantera in Great Neck...
I always go and sit outside of this Starbucks that's right on Northern Blvd in Great Neck: I love going there because it's relaxing, and the amount of exotics I see are unreal. I was talking to a guy, who also visits the Starbucks frequently, about cars. He mentioned how the Pantera is probably his all time favorite car, I was thinking to myself it's a shame I've never seen one in person.
No more than five minutes later, the guy says "hold on a second, I see something a few cars back in the inside lane." Once the light turned green, all of a sudden what I thought was a Countach from a distance, was actually a white Pantera driving right by us, and we were absolutely floored. What are the odds? I've never once seen the car outside of pictures.
I go to this Starbucks everyday around 5PM with my girlfriend, and we've seen all sorts of cars, to the point where F430s and Gallardos are commonplace to spot. Not once have we ever seen a Pantera. That thing was just amazing. Close to 40 years old, but absolutely timeless in design.
