September Mountain Run
ah, well if you drove these roads over the summer, you'd know that the way some of them turn and drop, we would def be crashing into each other, other objects, and flying off cliff edges.
if YOU (or anyone) wants to organize something in the next few weeks and do a run that would be cool seeing as how omega is committed to work right now and has very little time.
my only suggestion would be that you have a seasoned veteran to that area go with you and lead.
just my 2 cents.

My advise, make it soon as possible, before the roads get cold and traction is at a minimum.
I know its been said before, please reconsider due to the fact it is already mid-October. If you do end up going, take it slow.
It's going to be more of a 'cruise' for the foliage with a little fun on a few straights, nothing crazy. I would like to just check out the roads. I respect the relationship of temperature and grip. I hope Omega can get the routes over to me by tomorrow since I want to go this weekend.

Start in CT > VT Country Store > Ben & Jerry's factory, VT > Dinner near Mt Washington Hotel
I might actually be dragging the wife with me to because its big foliage time.

Without picking on Omega too much.. This is hilarious, so if we hadn't gotten rained out we wouldn't have known what routes we were taking.Did anyone else write anything down when you all went the last time?
Hey guys, i know this is really late notice for most but im going on a fall run with New England Rally tomorrow 10/10/09, All are welcome. It seems like an all day thing but with fun backroads and some "Spirited" driving. There are a couple 300Zx's going I hear

my directions are sitting in the lock box behind the passenger seat. haha wave, seriously, even a cruise becomes an all out thrash. ive tried to cruise with other z's, it doesnt happen, andrenaline picks up, people get ballsy, and at this time of year, itd be a mess. again, just my 2 cents.

I am glad you found it funny, thumbs up big guy. If we had gotten rained out, and I had then discovered the link was not working, "I" or another regular leader of these events who takes out a large amount of time and effort to plan out routing/stops/fuel/check points etc would have just mapped out another route. Does that clear up your confusion????

You could have gone on a drive to look at some leaves with your other half, no one stopped you. Sorry the routing info wasn't able to be provided, I tried. I had more pressing business to attend to then answering your 10+ PMs on the same subject, or remapping. Nothing is Secret.
Here is my suggestion to you for the coming Spring season:
1. www.google.com/maps
2. Find a route you like
3. Go drive it and take notes (more on this later)
4. Map out fuel, regrouping locations, food, repair
5. www.my350z.com then goto the Northeast section
6. New Thread
7. Wavehogger Mountain Run
8. Prep guidelines/dates etc
9. Meet everyone at start location
10. Lead the entire pack, set up comms, relay cars, spotters (youll need these), etc. (Also refer to #3)
Ill gladly sit back and enjoy the ride. A lot of effort goes into these runs to make them fun, safe, and a way for everyone to get together. We have many regulars and they can each attest to how things are run. By all means, you can take it over this coming season. You seem to have enough drive, accompanied with enough sideline sarcasm.
Ill respond to each quote above:

I'll post when I've got it to see if anyone is interested in going on a weekend morning run with me.
