Default NJ: Pass inspection with CEL?

Anyone know a shop who can pass me on inspections even though I have a CEL? Its for my HFC, and the CEl won't go away even though I put a spacer into the O2 sensor.
I am located in NJ. I'm willing to drive whereever as long as I can pass.

You'll probably have to find a mom and pop shop. I don't fail for CEL, but I do fail for visual emissions. Unless I like you, then I don't care.

Thanks . I know I'd pass a sniffer. Car doesn't smell at all and I'm using HFC that people have passed with. The damn 05+ cars are just so sensitive.

PS: do you like me? In a totally non-homo way. No homo..

Just reset the battery overnight. I did the same thing and its usually good for 60-80 miles. Just go straight to the place and get it done.

Reset the ECU once you get there.

ECU Resetting Procedures

Timing is extremely critical. If it is NOT DONE within the specify time, the ECU will not reset and the Check Engine Light (CEL) will continue to remain ON.
A stop watch or an analog clock with a second’s needle will be useful.

Operations Procedures

1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON” and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following steps (2a and 2b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds.
2a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD).
2b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking.
4. Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking)
5. Wait about 10 second.
6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.
7. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink).
8. Turn ignition switch to “OFF” position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone.

If the CEL light continues to remain ON, repeat the above steps. Timing is EXTREMELY critical to resetting the ECU

i figured out what was wrong and fixed it. you can't just reset the computer and go there because the ECU has to ready all te sensors before you can pass. IN order to ready the sensors, you need to drive 30 or 40 miles after a reseat.
