Default New 2 Jersey

Im not new to the site currently in Wyomng. In 3 weeks I'm relocating 2 New Jersey. I'm trying to find decent (graged) places near Wrightstown, NJ or the edge of Penn. I'm from Cali never lived on the East visited MD once so I'm pretty much a stranger. Im military and am just trying to find a nice neighborhood so I don't have any problems with having my car tampered with on a daily. Any help will be appreciated. Don't wnna stray 2 far away til I learn my way around but if theres better a few miles furtherI'll concider. Ive looked at places on line... nothingis like in person or personal experiance though.

Im sorry. That sucks.. This state is starting to suck more and more.

It smells so damn bad in central jersey from pollution. I almost threw up driving with the windows down over the driscol bridge.

Look in the Burlington County area. There are a LOT of military people in my town home development. Burlington Township is an awesome area about 30 minutes off base. I grew up on McGuire.

All the girls are trashy in NJ...and they are all schoolteachers. Play a little game called "count the schoolteachers" at the bar...normally over 50% and they are grubbin for free drinks

Ok. Well, for those who DO know what they are talking about in regards to NJ, it does smell bad on Rt 95 aka the turnpike which is about as far as all these "Jersey Experts" venture to. There are VERY many nice places, with no horrific odors, jails, factories, or skanky girls in Northern Jersey off of Rt 78. If i were you, i would look into PA. On the NJ/PA border about 1.5 hrs from the city and its gorgeous out there. Nice roads, beautiful mountains, on the delaware. Look in places like Allentown, Levittown, . You can get a nice townhome/rent someplace for decent value out there. Other than that, Mt. Laurel is nice and there are nice places in Burlington as well. Good luck!

Since your military you're gonna get a "living off base" stipend i'm sure. I did. I live in a town called Delran. Its about 15 mins to Philly. Look into Tenby Chase apartments there and also look into Summit apartments in Mt. Laurel, thats a really nice townand apt complex, and one of the police sergeants is a personal friend of mine. You can also look into Northgate Village Apartments in Burlington Twp theres a lot of military guys in all these places. Its roughly 30 mins from either town to Maguire AFB/ Ft. Dix. Stay out of Pemberton, Pemberton Twp., Mt. Holly, Browns Mills, Country Lakes, Presidential Lakes, Wrightstown. Especially stay FAR FAR AWAY from University Apartments in Pemberton! All those areas arent exactly the best of areas. If you have any questions @ all please feel free to PM me. I know what you're going through cause I did it every time I received new orders too. Hope this helps and good luck.

Welcome. You're coming from the least populated state to the most populated state. I can guarantee you will get a bit of a culture shock. People in the NE tend to be very fast paced and uptight especially as drivers. There is no shortage of Aholes here believe me. It will thicken your skin right away. We are also a huge melting pot so come with an open mind. That being said, this place has tremendous potential in terms of everything! It depends on what you're looking for. If you live in the southern part you have Philly just across the bridge. Up north you got the people who favor NYC. DC is only a few hrs south. I love chillin with friends from both North and South Jersey areas. South Jersey is the greener part of Jersey, but you have wonderful winding roads and mountains up in Sussex County (northern tip.) We have a very diverse stretch of beach culture up and down the coast. Come check it out. I'm also in Burlington County. Good luck.

Marlton here. How about you? I guess we're all in close proximity to one another.
