Jeff, dropping the front 3/4 and the rear 1" seems to have leveled the car off better. It doesn't look like the back is jacked up anymore. I like the difference it makes. Do you still need to go for a front end alignment now that the work is complete? What do the P1 P2 P3 lights telling you?

Once again this shows XXTuning's great service for not leaving until they finished the job.

Now that I think about it you are right. Not sure where I got the 1:30 number.
I just wish I had been there to get a ride after the install.

Wheels are definitely on my list, I just am having such a hard time deciding on them. I've seen a few that I really like and can't decide. I'm sure I'll end up buying wheels and then seeing something I like better! I guess I'll just have to take that chance...
Greg, you can really notice the difference in the rear shot (hint: Look at the spoilers, it's not the slight angle that makes the difference.) The P1, P2, P3 buttons are for preprogrammed settings. Right now I have them set as follows:
P1=F0, R0
P2=F8, R8
P3=F16, R16
I'm sure this will evolve to different settings over time as I get the feel for the different levels of dampening. The alignment has already been done, but I'll probably ask them to recheck it on Tuesday when I have my film redone. That way the springs will have had a few days to settle in.
Andrew, we'll have to get together sometime, Victor was thinking maybe lunch or something. How's your car doing? At least you are OK. I assume the deer wasn't so lucky...
See everyone soon I hope.

I'm fine, the deer isn't.
I'm not sure when the car is going to be back, I'll call the shop tomorrow. I think it'll be a while, at least another week or so. Thanksgiving this week throws things off a little.

Well, I drove it through most of last winter, so I'll still be on the road.
Of course, that was with tires that had about 3000 miles....now 15000 miles later, I'm not sure that'll be a good idea anymore.

Jeff, that setup looks great and I'm sure drives even better! I think I may have to mention Tein to my "friend" out in CA!
BTW, I thought I would be able to cruise by XXTuning Saturday morning in my "new" A4 that I picked up in Ft Worth, TX but it was 7 AM and I was sleeping when I drove past the exit. I drove straight through from Texas and only stopped for ~3 hours sleep outside of Nashville. Total time on the road was about 30 hours. I was so tired I didn't even try to find that damn Krispy Kreme exit!
Andrew, sorry to hear about your car and I now understand just how bad the deer problem is. I must have passed at least 30 dead deer in the Appalachian Mountains of I81 from Virginia up through Pennsylvania. I easily saw 100 live deer standing on the sides of the road (and a couple in the road!) and thought for sure one would jump in front of my car at the last minute. Throw in late night/early morning darkness, fog, fatigue, and the affects on the mind of 20 Dr Peppers and it's amazing I made it unscathed! My knuckles are still white from gripping the steering wheel so tight!

Victor, I'll try to swing by tomorrow and you'll get a ride before Greg.

Even the slight drop is noticable, and makes it look really sleek"; I like it. Now all you've got to do is drive it around Manhattan and tell us how it feels
Without the drop, it appears as though the zee has it's skirts lifted high
Good job Jeff.
