UPDATE
Sorry guys this will be postponed due to a lack of definite people going especially from the north/central group.
New date is Sunday Nov 13
So the new plan will be to go attend that end of year nissan meet for a little bit then head down to Golden Corral for lunch just like the original plan.
I already spoke with Akks350z and him and the south jersey group said that is a better idea.
Please plan ahead and try to take off for this day so we get more guys involved since this looks like it will be the last event of the season.
What: Lunch at Golden Corral http://www.goldencorral.com/
Where: 6725 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234
Date: sunday 10/23/11
Who: any Z/G owner
Time: arrive at restaurant 12-12:30 hopefully
Caravan Info:
refer to this if you don't know where these stops are http://reststops.wikia.com/wiki/New_..._State_Parkway
8:30 am Brookdale rest stop
9:00 am Cheesequake rest stop (recommended for Queens, Long Island guys)
10-10:30 am Forked River rest stop
12-12:30 pm Arrive at restaurant
3-4:00 pm Leave?
We were originally supposed to make this a cruise to the jersey shore - Long Beach Island twice but it never happened due to funky weather forecasts of rain and Hurricane Irene.
So once again i am attempting to coordinate an end of season cruise to grab some lunch at the one and only southern American all you can eat buffet Golden Corral (suggested by 350zion). According to him it's the perfect place to stuff your face and get your money's worth. As we've all seen the commercials it's only $10 and of course there's none around the metro NJ/NY area. It may seem too far for some but i'm sure it will be worth the drive especially if we get a lot of guys to go. I myself have never been to one and want to taste it for myself.
The plan is to meet up at the restaurant with the south jersey z/g group, eat lunch then take some pics together somewhere in the area then head back home so we don't hit any weekend traffic. I chose this particular location not because of distance but because the GSP has the smoothest roads and widest lanes. Depending on how many guys show up we may need to call the restaurant ahead of time. I'll take care of that. Ok so get ready for a nice cruise together before most of us put our cars away for the winter.
