I am looking to purchase my first Z but I am out of state and the car is in Jersey City, I was wondering if anyone knew of a local mechanic or someone you go to yourself that would be willing to go out and do an inspection on the car as I am unable to bring it into a shop. I don't really want to have to travel there unsure if there is something wrong with the car. I called around to some of the local mechanics and none of them said they would do it as they need the car brought to them which I unfortunately cannot do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would bring it to a nissan dealer odds are they will do a good lookover and you can use whatever is wrong for negotiation.

Oh yeah buying out of state is pretty hard. I always tell people to have the vehicle looked at especially if buying from a private party.

Bought mine certified pre-owned......that way I knew it had to be on the up & up. But buying from a private seller is kind of a crap shoot.
