When I originally got one, I had a full exhaust and intake on the car and I was dyno tuned. When I put the velocity on my car went very lean. So I took it off until I did the supercharger because I knew I would need a retune. So take into consideration that you may run lean and may need tuned.
Other than that I think the manifolds helped me alot to reach the power numbers I have now but I can't say for sure because I changed a lot at one time.
But I do love the way it looks

Still looking for a reasonably priced one. They hold value almost as well as Motordyne exhausts.
Also, more than likely going to put my wheels up for sale or trade. I like this look, but it grew old quicker than I expected. I'll rebuild the front wheels to the specs I want if I can't sell them.

Yeah I was planning on doing the mail in reflash at Z1 once I get my berks cats put on... Then will probably leave it alone.
They do tend to hold theit value people want like $500-$600 for a used one and you can get it shipped new from zspeedperfomance for $750

Then I strongly recommend you guys look into a new one.
I gave $550 for mine used. Then I had to get the gasket to seal it properly, I had to use the cork gasket that kinetix sells with it. And trying to torque the allenheads properly without their special wrench they send you is impossible. Trust me, I tried.
In the end the gasket and hardware replacement was a total of ~$40, so for another 100-150 you could have a brand new one with no wear.
Just some food for thought

Sup NE guys,
This is what I ended up picking up for 4500. 230k, running and driving, no CEL. Just needs a fender on the drivers side. It will be flawless after that.
This thing won't make it through the weekend before going under the knife, no doubt. 230WHP to 450+ in one weekend? I say yes.

MY landlord emailed me and gave me one week to get the G35 off the property since it is unregistered. That's probably the worst thing I have had to deal with in a long time. Shipping it off to my parents hopefully. If not it will be a total loss.
Anyway I plan to keep the Z white as long as I can. When the paint gets destroyed I may wrap it white or something. I like white because it is easy to hide scratches, and it is nice in the summer.
It's a toss up between the daytona blue and the white for me on the Z's...

That sucks, I always think the city is going to come and complain about my car collection but so far so good, a dude I work with wants to buy my S10 so im thinking of letting it go.
At least you got a sticker, is the g35 all stripped down or does it still have a engine transmission and driveline in it?
Where do you live?

The G35 is in West Warwick RI at my apartment in the driveway, my parents are about 2.5 hours from here in Northwest CT. They are not happy to hear this news at all. Actually they are PISSED. As am I.
Unfortunately the G still has my engine, tranny, half of the turbo kit, fuel system, boost controller, differential, and some suspension components I plan to transfer over left on it. I did manage to remove the wilwood kit, side skirts, tail/headlights, rear bumper, racing seats, and much more before hearing from my landlord as part of my plan to get the swap done before winter.
It was tough to decide to ship it away, I had already purchased and assembled a cherry picker to pull the engine/tranny over the next few weeks. I just simply couldn't bring myself to rush through that job to get it done in one week, I would surely have broken things and could have gotten myself into more trouble with it not being my property. Also I could have really hurt myself.
So what I did was build a suspension out of wood 4x4's that will be good enough to get it onto a flatbed. It was super crappy because I sold so many parts with no plans to ever re-mount wheels on the car. After replacing the coilovers with 4x4's I mounted some bent up wheels I had from my DD sentra, and it looks absolutely ridiculous. It will work though... This way it won't destroy either driveway if AAA is okay with towing an unregistered vehicle.
At least I have the Z here... I think I'll swap the camshaft sensors over before I ship the G off, it seems like that was the source of the CEL yesterday judging by the way the engine felt.
Man it was a great time to be pulled over and ticketed yesterday. I really needed that. Not! lol.

Yeah the Z sticks out like a sore thumb, deff dont get away with too much... Could stick the car in a storage garage for a few months. Hope you got AAA +, just make sure you stick a plate on it, and have your old registration ready in case they ask. AAA doesn't like unregistered vehicles.

The cop that pulled me over was asking what the plates were for that I had on the seat in the Z, they were from the G. She was talking like it was illegal to have plates or something. Why would that be? I said I was putting them on the Z but the DMV was closed, but she still looked at me funny.
Good luck with the purchase craig, hopefully you have your own property to do this stuff on. I need to look into mortgage options to see what kind of place I can afford...

The plate thing is probably because so many people go around putting plates on cars that are not registered and when you cancel off insurance and remove plates your supposed too destroy them or hand them into the rmv, thats probably why they asked about them.
Also sometimes people steel plates and use them on cars when they are going to commit a crime... She might have thought you were a shady character haha
Craig you always buying interesting shitola... Where do you find these cars?

That's never good to hear when you're talking about transporting a car across country. Make sure you have it documented what items are to remain on the car and pictures are taken prior to shipment and payment. Last thing you need is to get a stripped car like that S2000 ordeal that went down a few years back.
But good luck with it. Lots of value in that car.
