That's what I tell my parents when they roll their eyes at me. At least I'm putting money into the car rather than up my nose haha

My parents were no longer aware of it once I moved out. And the girlfriend doesn't care at all. So Im pretty content over here buying tons of parts and cars I don't need

Not for at least a week. I will probably gather a bunch of OEM parts and get most of it done in a day or 2

He didn't plan to sell it. He had an ad for a couple parts that Colton and I were both going to pick up and he told me to buy the whole car.

So now we are here. The car hasn't been driven in at least 6-9 months

Wow, you said it was dirty but I never pictured that much!

And I am burnt to a crisp after today's Cars and Coffee and post-meet wiener grilling. Curse having pale skin

Got some pics from the most recent wrap job. Turned the grille and bumpers from chrome to black.

Wrap turned out good. Now we just need to help the man plagued by the tilted camera disease and all is well.

Firmed up plans with R/T for a base tune. Should have plenty of time to make sure everything is ready to go before the full tune. I don't know if I'm ready to be there and watch that many pulls with my car venturing into the unknown. My heart may fail from stress before the motor does.

I really wasn't nervous for the first tune I had. But when I brought it back with the v7 and smaller pulleys I could hear it back in the tunnel hitting the rev limiter. I couldn't help but think my rod was going to put a hole in their wall...

Then he comes back and says we hit 500whp and he just needs to button up a couple last things. Then he does a couple final pulls and now knowing we were at 500 I was pretty confident something would explode

I couldn't imagine the stress levels I would have in that situation...

How opposed are they to owners being around the car while it's being tuned? I'd like to get a few good videos of the pulls since this is my first time even being near a dyno. Plus if I put a window in my block, I want to video of it so I can at least make some money from YouTube videos of the carnage.

They wouldn't want you back there the entire time but they will let you know when it's just about done and you can go get a video of one of the final pulls

The wrap looks good. I would like to do my front grill and trim on my Audi.

That will work. I'll just pace around the waiting area for a few hours with each body part crossed.

It will be like waiting for a loved one to get out of surgery.
