Default Newby looking for reliable mechanic

Hey guys just picked up a 05 ultra yellow 350z with 54k miles within a month the catalytic converter went. Took it to a local mechanic it's been there for over a month mostly because hes a one man army and put me in the back burner, but I don't want to go back to him if it takes that long for a simple fix does anyone know anyone in the Lehigh Valley pa area that specializes in nissan 350's I live in wind gap so I would like someone that's less than an hour away of driving. Ps I don't plan on doing anything too crazy performance wise so I just need a good mechanic that knows the 350 well, thank you

Do you have any mechanical experience? I try my best to do everything myself. That way you know that it is getting done properly, saves money, and time.

Not too much and since I just got the car I'd rather have someone that specializes in the 350's that not a dealer for my wrx there is a nearby shop that specializes in subarus so I'm trying to find something similar for my 350 specially while still making payments

Your not going to find anyone who specializes in a car that hasn't been made in 8 years in east butt**** Pennsylvania... I would just bring it to the same Subaru guy's if you trust them... If they can work on a Subaru they can work on a Nissan...

True that's probably what I'll end up doing, I just don't want to be going to the dealership and paying those crazy prices or having some local mechanic shop **** everything up haha. Just figured id ask if anyone knew someone that was known for working on nissans to ease my mind more

I have an exhaust guy near Scranton if you are interested. He installed my HFC's, Bassani exhaust and made everything fit perfect, which took a bit of work. He also did a cat back on my F150 and has everything done within a day or at most 2 of your car being dropped off. I usually drop it off the night before and it's done on my way home from work. PM me if you want his name and #
