Why did MY350Z.COM decided to segregate the respective regions, what provoked this new slicing of the American pie.

Isn’t New England AKS North East? Most of our meets in the now defunct NE, thus far, consisted of enthusiast stretching from Canada, through, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire (and not New Hampsire), Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut right down the NE to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, even as far as Maryland, Delaware & Virginia.

I am looking more at convenience and practicality, when we announce an event in the NE region.

In any event, at the end of the day, I suppose I could work with the present set-up; as I am certain that there are some who prefer to cut-up the region for exclusivity.

I think there will be a learning period where meets get posted to the wrong section or don't get posted to both. I'm voting that there will be disadvantages, although maybe Victor has good reasons for this change.

 

If this change is necessary due to the size of the region covered and the increasing amount of members, then whichever states were dropped should get their own chapter and the old Northeast section should be deleted, so as to not confuse people on where to go, post, etc.

 

Well to be honest with you, I always see New England forums rather than a General "North East" forum in almost 90% of car forums out there.

 

So far based on the votes we're at 50/50; either, the breakup does not make a difference to members or; it is hard to break old habits; and/or majority of members in this region just find it more convenient just to stay put at a section/region that's most frequent by ZEE G enthusiast.

Oh well, back to the NE.

I asked Victor to change it back. Personally, I thought it was a pain to have 2 forums and I've had a number of communications from members that expressed their wishes to have one forum again.

Hope that's okay with everybody.

 

Thanks Andrew. It's nice to have the two joined again. Checking both regions was really getting to be annoying.
