AutoX Practice Day - July 16th
For you BEAC guys out there a BEAC Practice day is confirmed for Saturday the 16th (see the BEAC website for the usual details, e-mail notification will be sent out next week). All NW 350Z guys interested in joining us that aren't BEAC guys; shout out so we can find someone who'd be willing to invite you as their guest.
MadMax76 - you're in as my guest if you're ready to give it a shot.
Rahtok - Bringing a set of R-Compounds w/ you?

I'm going to try. I don't know if they'll be here by next week, though. More troublesome, however, is the fact that my 3rd gear synchro just went to the great transmission home in the sky. They're going to rebuild it, but it won't even go in the shop till wed or thursday, and I'm trying to get a lightweight flywheel / clutch setup in before that as well. Any suggestions?
Did you happen to checkout the article in Speed magazine where they did a comparision of 4 force induction Z's? The "ringer" car from Performace Nissan was using a Tilton flywheel & clutch package. However, I would pick Lateapex's brain.
I'm trying to decide between tilton and jwt. tilton has a full street package that supposedly is not too terrible, but it makes a bit of noise. About half way between stock and tilton sits the jwt, but it's quiet and very day-to-day driveable.

If not, then BKMC you can come as my guest. Gonna just do the AM session again or can you stay for the full day?

Triple8 is coming as one of my guests. I don't think our other friend Brian with the 300TT is coming this time, since he's planning on driving to Portland that day. So that should leave another spot open under me.
BTW Brian: I have the JWT flywheel (just not on my car) and I'm actually ordering the Nismo clutch to go with it. (install later this month). From what I heard, that's a really good setup. The JWT flywheel is actually made by Findeza (or however you spell it).
From everything I read, the JWT is a great overall flywheel.

Ah there you are. I was wondering where you had gon off to.
Cool.
Also don't forget to bring water (lots of it) and sunscreen. This past weekend I went through a 1/2 gallon of water while I was there for 1/2 the day. It looks like it'll be sunnier and hotter this weekend.

Did someone say caravan?
Sorry guys, I'd like to join you but I can't make it at 8:30AM. I'll probably be in Evt by that time. I need to set up cones at the enterances of the lots and to swap out tires. I'll just see you there at 9 o'clock.
Any suggestions for courses? I haven't selected one yet. Fast (Sports Car Spectacular '02)? Challenging (Miatacross '03)? Recent (Understeer/Oversteer '05)? or The Red course (BEAC's current benchmark)? I'm hoping we'll have another marked course soon since I hear Lateapex is designing the one for Sports Car Spectacular '05.

Fast and straight is good for me.
If anyone wants to caravan up to Everett, we should meet at the 112th Park N Ride at 8:30.
Unless you guys feel you need the extra time, we can meet at 8 as usual.

I would love to see a course to be really curvy. Since I bought my Z, less then 2 month ago, I still didn't get a chance to test it's limits. So for me, the more curves the better but I guess it doesn't really matter cause if I get to drive like crazy without getting a ticket I will be in heaven
