Default Hwy 53 in Oregon

Here is a vid of our drive back on Hwy 53 off of H26. If this doesn't get you excited to take a drive down it, I don't know what will.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...42808655551178

Should be available for download in a couple of days, if you want to save it.

Nice!!! I 'stumbled' upon this road on my way back to Seattle after picking up a motorcycle (2002 Kaw ZZR 1200) and riding up along Cali coast on Hwy 1 & then onto 101. I didn't want to take 101 all the way up to Astoria so I decided to take a new route on the way back. HOLY CRAP what a ride!!!!!!! Some of the best roads I've been on so far....

I'm definately going to have to get back down there in the Z as well. Absolutely amazing, especially in the sunshine.

the last leg, from about 12:20 on the vid to about 15:30 is the best part of the road!! the thing you can't really tell from the vid is how banked the roads are. you can get awesome down and side G-force through those turns! i used to have a porsche with hoosiers on it, and i almost had to pull over after that section cause i got dizzy, lol.
too bad you guys hit it in the rain or wet roads. dammit, i need to go for a drive now!
whens the next trip?

Okay, I had to revive this thread from the dead simply because you put "Who's Jimmy Ray" on the soundtrack!

Haha, maybe the drive was okay too
