So, now that I spin the tires in EVERY gear I can get no more street tuning done .... :|

I guess I'll have to nut up and dyno tune it ....

I was watching the weather channel this morning and they said the rain is back in Seattle. They forecasted rain everyday for the next 10 days straight!

I moved up here a few months ago...up to this point the weather has been great! But everyone has been telling me how bad the winters are, so I've prepared - here's what will make the winter go by like nothing: UR flywheel, headers, TPs, cat-back exhuast, AAM reflash, new set of Kuhmo V700 for autoX...there's a few more things, but I'm looking forward to the rain!

Man that straight up and down sucks, I was hoping for a bunch of testing before I take it to DynoAuthority for it's final full boost timing changes ....

As bad as the rainy season is here, there's one positive aspect to it; drifting attempts in the wet is a whole lot easier and cheaper (tire-wise) than in the dry.

... at least it doesnt snow/icy like it does in the East Coast... you gotta be careful on the accelerator though... esp when speeding up on on-ramps.... and it think our cars are prone to hydroplaning on 405/I-5.....

I came from NYC before moving here. Driving in the winter w/ the snow and ice was a lot more trecerious than driving in the rain. Hitting a patch of black-ice at night was always a concern even when the roads were dry. When I think about it, it's not too bad here.

Yeah, I also lived in Toronto for 2.5 years and although I didn't drive it was crazy cold.

I guess I should stop my whining and learn to drift .....

I enjoy high speed cruising in the rain. The limited slip makes it hard to spin second. Lots less wheel spin than the car came with stock. The car hooks up straight ahead in the wet. The traction difference is unbelievable. I don't fear the rain!

pretty scary driving down I-5 last night (from BC). it was raining pretty hard from Bellingham-to-Burlington. eventhough i had allseasons, the car felt like its jittery-floaty-light at 65mph. i think the traffic speed was 70mph so i was going on the slow lane already. big trucks and SUVs blowing past me, plowing more water over my windshield, making it even more treacherous. next time i'll take the speed down to 60mph. eventhough i have RE0960s with deep grooves, i didnt feel safe for some reason. i think it has to do with the wide tires and low profiles.

I didn't care, I only did 60.

(I installed the new-to-me Koni DA, with the settings from Topeka still on them. Have you ever driven down the road with virtually zero suspension travel?)
