Default AVOID Discount Tire in Bothell

Worst experience of my life.....they first charged me twice for balancing when the first set of tires were 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 and it messed with my tcs and then when they put the correct tires on my car the guy scrapped a big chunk off of my le37's. They have offered to buy me a new wheel but its gonna take 3-4 months and it seemed like they really didnt care just wanted to get me in and out...i would never go back to them again.

Wow that sucks. I used Discount Tires in Bellevue, and they did a good job. They were careful with my wheels, of course I stood in the bay and watched them, and I brought my own tires.

I've used Discount Tires in Renton and they also did a good job...a few of the guys that work there are into imports (RX-7 turbo and something else) -so they were super carefull w/ my rims.

I grew up in Renton...anyone go to Ridgewood Elemetary school??? I used to go there and they sucked, used impact gun to tighten bolts down and what not, no torque wrench...oh well, I like them now because they are one of my customers so I don't mind. One funny thing they do is, "safety siping"...next time you are in there, ask them about it. It's a totally ghoulish process of putting cuts in your tires to give them more sipes for snow traction, but it doesn't work.

I have a friend in management at Discount Tire, go back and ask for the manager. If you don't want to go back to that store go to another location and have them make you happy. All Discount Tire are owned by one person, if you had problems say in California, the store in Washington can and will make it right. If you aren't pleased with the results of your visit to another store tell me. My friend the manager has been know to refund a customers money and let them keep the product they purchased if that is the last resort to make a customer satisfied. Your problem will be resolved, PERIOD!

I do NOT work for Discount Tire, but I can get positive results that won't take months like you are describing.
They may have a kid in the back that was careless or made a bone head, but they will fix their mistakes to YOUR satisfaction.

I like the sound of that, my experience with the one in Kirkland was the guy behind the counter was giving me quotes for wheels and tires in even rounded figures and off the top of his head and just wrote them down on his business card LOL. Seemed shady at the time, I like my quotes done on an invoice where everything is clearly priced so I don't get F'd. Also the quotes I got were higher than most sadly.
