Default Need some 06 springs

Does anyone got stock 06 (2006+ Z only, no 03-05) springs lying around? I need them for a project. Not looking to spend too much on them but if you'd like to get rid of yours please let me know Thanks

haha no. 06 has revised spring ratesa...contemplating whether I should go with 06 springs or get tein h-techs (drops .3/.2 respectively) Reason is cause my driveway sucks and I don't know if I can handle the drop and still make it up my driveway. If I'm careful right now I might get 1" clearance and thats with no drop.

Revised springs were on 04.5+, so you don't have to look for 06 only. You should pick up a complete revised suspension rather than just the springs though because your unrevised rear shocks have a pretty stiff compression setting already, and combined with the stiffer revised rear springs will lead to a extremely stiff rear which will likely decrease performance. 350z h-techs are a good choice, its what I have currently, but if you have 1" of clearance in your driveway, then you should be able to drop it up to .9" and just drive carefully. I only have a few cm of clearance going into my garage, and routinely scrape with more than 1 person in the car, its just something to deal with having a lowered car. Look into the s-techs or hotchkis springs instead for a more noticeable drop.

you should just make little ramps for your driveway, then slam the car! It'd look sooo good w/ the new volks!

After looking at this post Alvin, I feel that the amount of work involved for a .2" drop is just not worth it. IMO I still like my full drop/full throttle entry method I mentioned to you yesterday

Triple8Sol - I am pairing them with different shocks bro. Tokico D-Spec ftw.

Peter - I wish...but it's not my house to mess with haha....when I buy my own home next year it will definitely NOT be a high driveway.

Erick - why don't you come over, try it and let me know how many pieces your front lip flies off in hehe

You should've bought the shock/spring combo I was selling. Really would've been perfect for what you're looking for. Oh well. I agree with these other guys that say you should go for a more noticeable drop. Nice wheels and a bodykit will look retarded if the car is ridin' high...

Devil Z and wasuber are like the evil half of me that jsut wants to slammmed it.

skidmarq -thanks bro but where is svrt? isn't that in portland?

Triple8sol - yeah bro I wanted it but wasnt' sure if I would clear my driveway

redlude97 - hey bro I don't know if I can go for the s-tech. they're gonan drop me like a whole inch and I think that might be too much. How do you like the h-techs? I'll pretty much always have a passenger (my fiance) 90% of the time.

s-techs are nowhere near an inch, they are advertised at .7"F,.6" rear, and some people haven't gotten the advertise drop in the rears and had to cut their springmounts to level it off. The h-techs ride almost exactly like the revised springs with revised shocks. With the d-specs, you can adjust the stiffness to your comfort level. Having an extra passenger won't really make a difference since its on the other side of the car, and will just even up the drop anyways. If you want to test the h-techs, LMK, we can arrange something when you are on campus.

will do bro. I also have another question you might be able to answer. I tried to research this but no one can come up with a clear answer on the drop of the tokico d-spec. Some says 1" some says 1.25 and some .75" and thats scattered all over this site and vendor sites too. No one seems to have a clear answer.
