what about Paradise in Rainer? We can stop by Wally's Drive-In for old school burgers and shakes.

 

The drive up to Paradise is nice. It's also closer to guys from the Puget Sound area. However, the potential for more 'freedom' when driving is Mt St Helens. It's also $10 per car to enter Rainier National Park and they're still making repairs to the roads from this past winter.

 

I lived in Sequim for 5yrs and know the upper Olympic Pennisula very well. Highway 112 to Neah Bay is what you guys want to drive on. The whole drive of 101 is tied up with tourist/motorhomes all summer. The best you see is the speed limit. There is lots of fun side roads and great attractions.

 

I think it would be cool to do something towards or nearby south WA/north OR, try to get a big NW meet going with some of the guys down in the Oregon area'

 

The drive up highway 7 from Spanaway to LaGrande-Alder-Elbe has it's moments. At Elbe you take a right and head out the bottom to Mineral-Morton-Mossyrock.
