Hey man yeah we do stuff from time to time, hit up rent.com for a place, do you know where you will be working/living specifically? also hit up www.wwscc.org for autox and evergreenraceway.com for drifting events also PIR in portland, oregon, not tooo bad of a drive from Seattle for some great drift events. Other than that you just gotta dig and explore I would be happy to help another Z brother anytime

p.s. I hate moving...

Pacific Raceways - http://www.pacificraceways.com/

AutoX / Time Trials:
Northwest Regional SCCA - http://www.nwr-scca.org/

Sweet! You in IDS sector or Commercial Airplanes?

As for places to live, it really depends where you are... Everett, Seattle, Renton?

There are plenty of great places, unfortunately they aren't right next to boeing so you will have to commute. I would suggest Mukilteo if you don't want to be driven insane by traffic.

^ yep, the autosports club. We mainly do autoX because we have the privilage of using Boeing's huge parking lots. But we also have other members that do various types of road racing, dirt track and 1/4 mile stuff too.

If you're gonna be working for IDS you will most likely be working in Kent or Seattle Field. Very little IDS work goes on in Renton or Everett, those locations are primarily commercial aircraft (some P8 stuff and some 767 tanker stuff).

$14,000 a month j/k

I had a brand new 3 bedroom with a garage in Renton way back like 7 years ago for 1,200 a month. I think it was something like 1,400 sq ft. if I remember right.

Better find out where you'll be working and what you'll be willing to put up w/ as far as a commute. Prices will vary considerably depending on where you live around here. A rental in Seattle will cost considerably more than a rental in Auburn assuming that they of equal quality.
