135k miles is nothing. I have a friend with a 04 350z with 240xxxx miles. Still running strong. Cars these days last so long. As long as you do oil changes on time and check fluids, you should be good. I still believe 6 speeds last longer than automatics though.

I've seen that car on Craigslist all summer. I would have bought it if it was LeMans or Blue. I ended up with a used car that had 3,000 miles.

The VQ engine my not be capable of as much HP per liter as say a Honda built engine, but it is by far the work horse of JDM power plants. I think if properly cared for, it could be driven hard and still make it to 200k miles in it's life.

And they just keep getting better.

That's going to be a tough one.

Too many miles for conventional financing, and I doubt too many people who can write a $15,000 check will want 135k as opposed to putting that down on a new one for $27,000.

Good luck to seller, looks great for the miles!

i dont think it was salvage title, but if he got it for under 10k, doesnt that smell fishy? he had the track rims on there when he first got the car, but i guess he sold it on craigslist or something.
the interior looks pretty worn too..

hey thats my z let by the way who is sung?

here is the story yes i did pick that car up for 8k and it runs pefect. i did quite a bit to it and now its in mint condition i put around 4k into it to bring it back to mint condition.

Here is the latest on it Nissan Motors of America called me up about a week and a half ago wanting to do a study on my engine, trani, drivetrain so i took it to them on the 28th and they called me the following monday telling me there ordering $13k in parts for it for free. There in the process of putting in a brand new engine, trani, driveline, all the running gear and basically everything that could ever go wrong on these. There also throwing in a warranty on it. I just talked to them the other day and its suppose to be ready tomorrow.

I am going to be relisting the car for 17999 with a full warranty if anyone is interested.
