I had my ticket to see him last year but then he went and got sick and temporarily lost his hearing so he cancelled his US tour.

Read sig . . . broke . . . need to spend less $$$ on mods and get myself some decent gear so I can get started . . . . *sighs* . . . mod bug . . . .

I'm hoping by summer I'll have the necessary equipment. No Technic or Pioneer stuff for me yet, I'll just get some OK stuff and progress from there on.

Crazy, I did know about the hearing thing. That happened with Ed Rush and Optical not long ago.

Devil Z-
I tell this to everyone that wants to DJ and is serious about it......get technics! Save the extra and get them. If you take care of Technics they will last you forever plus that what you will play out on at shows. Getting anything else is a waste of money. Mixers you can be flexable on for now. Eventually you will want to look at a Pioneer 600 since thats pretty much the standard these days, the 800 will soon take its place if it drops in price a bit. So far I have only had a few contracts demanding 800's over the 600's.

I think people should be able to enjoy music and dancing at any age. We actually could go all ages but in the interest of meeting the city half way and from a liability standpoint we set it at 16+....
