ok,so i go to the nissan dealership because i have one of those **** transmissions that came in the 03 track-i had the normal grinding in third gear and fifth..anyway to get to the point every dealership i went to in the area would not work on my car since it was modified and has a twin turbo kit...shocker right lol...so i sad **** it i traveled further away to visit a old friend that works at a nissan dealership on rt 22 in new jersey-so even though i couldn't get warranted anywhere else, my boy hooked it up-i went there told him what i had and by the next day i had a brand new trans in the whip-couldnt be happier-the place had a whole bunch of z's there hooked up-which was nice.but the best part is he said he doesnt mind covering cars as long as the aftermarket parts are not in his way of repairing what ever needs to get fixed...of course i hooked him up with a little on the side for the trouble-but thats just me..its good to know nice people like him are still around..so any of you guys in the area need the hook up and youre still under the powertrain holla at me p.m

 

What was the first place you went to so I know to stay clear???

..and the 2nd - rt. 22 is kinda far; what thier loaner program with warranty look like??? I obviously didn't buy mine there but I may need the trans soon and also have a little rust perforation goin on under the paint...

first place i went to was denville nissan/not nice guys *******s if you ask me---damaged my wheels and they damaged a buddy of mines hood-the loaner car thing i dont think they give loaner cars unless you bought it there..

 

k... yeah I've ehard nothin good about Denville... I'm a little further north than that and go to Rt.23 automall for parts but I haven't used thier service yet... And I didn't think so on the loaner thing; I know some places will give you one with warranty repair b/c they can claim a rental charge through the warranty and make some $$$ on the loaner...

yo whats good my dude hows the trans doing in the whip-just got mines done and it feels soooooo gooooooood to have that old trans outa there-i talked to vinny yesterday--he has been so busy with so many cars at his shop--i havent really got the time to ask him when is a good time to bring you-i want to make sure he can have the time to answer all youre questions..but i def will bring you sometime in the next week or so-vinny will def hook it up for you and set you up with the right stuff to get that car moving...holla at me and keep my wheels clean and free of curbage lol

do you happen to have a hookup in Houston, TX or does your friend know someone over here that will do it. I have the warranty but my z is modded and I am scared that they cancel my warranty if they see the performance parts.
