I picked up a 360 a few weeks ago. I love it! My buddies and I race on Forza 2 on Xbox live. If anyone ever wants to join in the races my Xbox ID is the same as my user name here.

Get the 360. Fun factor is high. PS3's good too, but more likely just an expensive DVD/BD player rather than a video game console IMO. And yes, Call of Duty 4 rocks. Forza 2 is fun also.
