the steering mod on the 06 is really no sweat. you can cut out the crimp nut on the slip joint and just weld the section together. also, you can shim the motor mounts to make very slight adjustments. solid motor mounts will also keep the gap consistent and reliable. any shop or fab person can take care of it easily for cheap. if ya need help let me know.

put twins on my 06...little bit tricky at first, then solution was kinda easy in the end.

After much debate and inner turmoil I believe I am going to go with the Vortech kit after all. It is time to buy so...... Superchargersonline sells the kit for $5k. I have not seen any better. I have only read good things about them. Are they a safe bet to purchase from?

Any suggestions as where to get it tuned?

Thanks,

Steve

Trent, the tuner at world one down in kent tuned both mine and icedoutis(drew) TT and the tune is running great. We will see how good it really is at the dyno day last tune I had done at dynoauthority put down 410/400 hp/tq so hope its better than that. Those guys are good, but trent street tunes which imo is better since it is real life scenario as opposed to the dyno.

call down to worldone and see if they can beat the price. That's what I did for my twins.

No kidding! Even though I have less TQ than you TT guys, my new 3.9FD def causes some traction issues.
