we'll be rolling out at 6:20am from starbucks...I plan to take 18 to I-5; we could try to meet you there?? Do you know a exit that has gas station around that area...I'll want to fill up at some point on the way down.
there is a shell gas station at the intersection where 18 ends (just passed the 18 i5 interchange)
if u guys wanna go there to fill up, i can meet with everyone there
now i'm off to speedware to buy some gloves

I'm down for that - can you post up the address/location of the shell location, and we'll give you a call once we get onto hwy 18 heading WB.
lol - I did the same thing last yr...read the rules the day before and bought gloves at speedware - their stuff isn't cheap, but not many places have that in stock.
*20% chance of rain...may want to bring a garbage bag to put your stuff in - they don't have much (if any) sheltered areas at Bremerton.
Here's what I'm bringing (feel free to borrow my stuff if it helps to reduce what you need to pack):
-tire pressure gauge
-tire temp gauge
-portable air compressor
-small socket set
-duct tape / zip ties
-TQ wrench / breaker bar
-helmet
-2 foldable chairs
-extra socks/shoes (if it rains, sucks to drive home w/ wet feet)
-deodorant (when pushing the limit, I tend to perspire
)Warmilk - If you have an extra set of brake pads, bring them (good insurance)...if not, let me know and I have an extra/old set.

See you bright and early

See you bright and early
^its all good, don't worry about it
i talked to the guy with the datsun z, he said that the engine was freshly rebuilt to factory specs by some really reputable builder, iguess thats why it sounded so good, i forgot to ask him who much power he was putting down though, but since the engine was built to factory specs, prolly just whatever it was putting down when it was new
i had a great time, all the instructors that i had in the afternoon sessions told me the only thing that i needed to work on (well learn from scratch) is heel and toe downshifting, i was doing everything else right, just need more seat time to actually get fast and nail everything perfectly. i also put some good distance between me and that 993 porsche that was there on the front straight, i know its not on the turns, but that guy was an instructor, i didn't stand a chance in that area
i really recommend this to anyone with even the slightest interest in cars, i can't think of a way to enjoy ur car more than this

just don't go full speed on the 2 main straights...going into turn 2 and into 3a are the 2 spots that really heat up the brakes - if you let off a bit, you shouldn't have any issues. (the straight section doesn't require much skill...it's just stepping on the gas
)
I'm interested as well, but I need to get a new bumper first, this oem bumper only exposes 30% of the intercooler, and I think that's why I was knocking ( do not want!!).
so ill try and get one asap and attend pir

so ill try and get one asap and attend pircould you just run 0 boost?? IMO it would probably be easier to run at a new track w/ out FI...
