ah, did you watch me dyno? I told everyone if they made fun of me if I stalled it I would cut them, and pulled it out. It was pretty funny (especially if you get to know me). Anyway, keep me posted, I am interrested in the BBK.

Don't get me wrong, I really do like my Z. The car only has 5300 miles on it (06 Grand Touring Roadster). I just don't know if I want to dump a few more thousand into this car. The NSX, on the other hand, will always "be" something because it is rare in comparison to most vehicles. You can spruce it up to look more like a modern day supercar. Granted parts are hard to come by.

SlowZster: No worries. Knives don't scare me. Besides, I bet I have a bigger knife than you.

NSX TT widebody would be siiick!! Man I wanted to take a look at your brakes and sus. but seems they are both taken. Let me know if those plan fails.

Someday, I'll be able to dump money in a car like NSX..... Someday....
I envy u.... But, if you have that kind of cash floatin' around, why not get a GT-R. It'll be superfast without any mods and with mods, it'll be a super monster. Aftermarkets should come out within a year or two... It'll also be rare and timeless just like a NSX. Though, NSX might get more pung tang with that exotic look....

OK, get this guys. I'm ready, looking and calling NSX owners that are selling and this dousche bag of a friend (he owns a Z too), tells me to go get the current Modified Mag. And what do I do, like an IDIOT, I get it. Have you guys seen the featured vehicle? It's a drop top red roadster with the Stillen SC pushing 500+ whp (notice the plus sign) and weighs in at 2852 curb weight (this is including a custom roll cage). I hate him right now.

This is making my brains hurt real bad. So my girl tells me, "why not keep it and do the same thing". So I hate her too. But she did say I can get the NSX in the near future. So I hate her less, now.

Right now, I'm racking my brains (the two brain cells I have left are confused, they keep bumping into each other). The crazy part about this whole thing is, I would have to spend another 12k min and that's after 32000.00+ worth of parts into the Z (thats w/tax included in that amount and not counting the cost of the car).

UHGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With all this said and done, I could have purchased a GTR. But then again, I would spend money on this and that would have added up to a Ferrari and so on and so forth. Might as well go straight for a Bugatti. Then again, selling my house and everything in it, I would be WAY WAY short LOL.

Hmmm....dilemma. Although, I could keep the Z and finish out the modding to where I like it. Build up an old RX7 SE with an LS1 motor just for the hell of it (this idea was given to me from someone else and it can be done cheap). Then save up for the NSX, cuz it will slowly drop in price anyway.

Let me go kick ZSlaw's **** first for pointing out the mag. Unfortunately, we have known each other for a few years and he knows how I think. I come up with - way too many ideas, spending money on a car and end up trading the car in for something else so I can do work on that one. I have to admit, the 3rd gen Rx7 has always been one of my favorites.

It's like never being satisfied. Sux.

I'm sure most of the ppl who are selling cars can be trusted, but I'll probably stay local. This way I can check out every inch of the vehicle. I checked out a Silver NSX last week that had SC and some mods to it. He was asking way too much for the condition it was in. If it was in great condition or far cheaper, I would have picked it up right then. But this is why I will stick to local, to cover my butt.

Here's another reason:

Couple days ago I was ready to purchase a black 2003 NSX. I've been going back and forth with the so called "owner" through email. Everything looked good, because he had the CarFax and all. He said that he wanted to go through Ebay to do the transaction. So I emailed Ebay and asked how that process works. Apparently, you have to list it on Ebay to use their VPP (Vehicle Protection Program). You can't do a transaction without having it listed on Ebay first.

His was originally posted on Autotrader. The fishy thing was, he took it off the listing as soon as I contacted him through email. The CarFax showed two places that it was registered for, yet he said it was in a container in Idaho (so he said). I told him, since it is in Idaho, I would just drive there to check it out first and I asked him some questions. He replied with Exclamation points and sounded rude (and this was through email). So I forwarded the email the Ebay ppl sent me and that was the last I heard from him.

This is one of the reasons why I would only shop locally. I also read somewhere, getting cars from out of state dealers can be iffy also. You never know what kind of condition it will arrive in. Everything looks clean in a pic, but in person it's not as good as you would have thought. Of course not all are like that. But hey why take the chance.

You could PM DrVolkl. He traded in his Z for an NSX a couple years ago. Might give you some better insight...

I would like to give a BIG FAT APOLOGY to everyone on this thread. Originally my thought was to get rid of the Z and purchase an NSX. Everything was going fine, until the ButtHead of a friend told me to get the Modified Mag for this month (as I stated earlier). After seeing and reading about the Enjuku Z, i'm going to build up the Z as close to this as possible. I'm just a step away anyhow.

I will be going down to Stillen this Summer to have them tune my car. Apparently, my car should be pushing 340-350whp. The stage 3 for a rev up motor is showing 410hp, which equates to 336.2whp. With the competition stage it should run 340-350 whp. My dyno runs shows otherwise.

Don't count me out of an NSX just yet. I may just purchase one after I reach the goal for my Z. I need more than one or two project cars.

I would like to Thank everyone for your opinions and hope you will understand my 360 decision. This goes out to the guys that were hoping to purchase my parts.
