so i got the FMI mounted today...little more work then i thought...

i had to remove the power steering cooler and relocate it...not too bad tho

on to the pics

you can see in this pic how the cooler is just hanging in front of the FMI by those metal tubes...

so i used the new hose's that the kit came with and relocated it into the fender well as you can see in this pic

and just a few random pics...iv been driving around with no front bumper today...but it should be back on tonight

well we started the turbo install on saturday at 11am...and dident finish till 9pm on sunday night..well kinda...

we worked on it for 46 hrs straight...very little food, no sleep, and lots of frustraition!!

this was seriously one of the hardest turbo kits i have ever installed..the directions were very vague and we had to do a little mod on the charge pipe...

anyways here are some pics..im not going to do a step by step because that would just take forever..

ENJOY

there was ALOT of stuff that we did that you wont see in the pics, but i just couldent get pics of everything...

but as of right now my car will start up, but i have 0 oil pressure and one of the oil pumps is clicking???..we dont know whats wrong with it (thinking maybe its not grounded properly???) and for some reason my clutch pedal is just laying on the ground...we cant bleed it out enough to get pressure to keep the pedal up...wierd...we are thinking something is wrong with the new clutch line that APS gave us...

today we are going to try and do a few things to get the car up and running, then next week we wana get it tuned

WISH US LUCK!!!

P.S. just a pic i like

just an update....we worked on the car a lil more lastnight...still cant get the clutch to work...we are thinking maybe the slave cylinder?? we dont have any idea...so im going to order a new clutch slave cylinder today and try that...if that doesent work then looks like i have no choice but to take it to Nissan and have them check it out...

but the good news is that i have oil pressure now!!!

that oil selonoid that was acting up was wired exactly how APS says to do it...BUT it still wasent working so we just ran the power to a switched power and then grounded it out..so now when i start the car, the oil selonoid opens up and everything works perfectly!

so all in all, the car IS running and seems to be running fine...but i just cant get it to move due to the clutch....

ill update ASAP
