so i got some new parts!...i figure ill just add to the post here with the install of my GTM aps single turbo upgrade kit!!

its a garret gt35, tial 44mm wastgate, new hot side piping, and a manifold deal...

should start installing it tomorro (sat the 13th) and ill be sure to take pics!

Looks like you got screwed. There's not enough fins on the turbo. You'll have to mod it like this:

hahaha!!! thats an awesome pic...

but i git the turbo in and the car runs amazing! BUT, i think it has a WAY to stiff of a spring in the wastgate....it hit 15psi in 3rd gear..and my boost contoller was set as 0....

 

15 psi is bad on a stock motor.

 

yeaaa.... im not diggin it haha...it feels awesome but im scared o hear a loud pop haha

 

Uh, yeah, you're gonna want to tone that down a bit.

 

so i went ahead and disconnected my boost controller (blitz sbc) and now im running straight wastgate (44mm tial) and im holding 8-9psi thru every gear....so i pretty much know that its my controller thats screwing me up now..so i just have to figure out how to work the damn thing hahaha..i wana run 10-11 psi in every gear so yea...anyone know how to work this damn thig????

we can build ANYTHING haha...but i did that all on the side...if you go threw the shop we have to do it the legal way (cats)

thought you were on a built shortblock yea 15psi on the stock block is crazy! I say shoot for 400-425 and leave it. but Love the car very nice!!!
