i was driving home from work yesterday and was thinking about what i wanted to do that night and i got this bright idea!..build myself a custom trunk haha

well it was actually really easy and only wasted about and hr or two...but i took my spare out and placed my small 12'' box in there...cut a hole in my covers...then placed the new JL audio 12" sub i bought in the hole and into the box in the spare tire well...

due to the box being a little higher then what it needs to be it kinda lifted the carpet a little but im going to do a few things later on to make the gaps look better...but as for right now i think it looks damn good!

Me likes. I ended up spending $250 on a custom trunk box for my 15".. if only I had the time and knowledge.

 

looks good, but ya kinda killed the ability to carry stuff in the trunk unless ya make a good strong grill for it and clean it every so often.
heres what i did. 2-10's and it takes up almost no useable trunk space. if you built it right you can fit a 12" each side if ya wanted.

yea i hear what you are saying...i thought about getting a cage for the sub but honestly i never use the trunk...i just toss everything in the pass seat haha....

but i didnt cut up the carpet that has the "Z" logo on it so no mater what, if i get bored of it i can just cut a new piece of plastic and be good to go

We have a trunk? I've always used the passenger seat for.
